Warehousing, Storage & Distribution

Our fully alarmed and secured modern warehousing facility is at the core of our storage and order fulfillment services.

We provide short and long-term secure storage solutions such as off-site document storage and archiving for clients such as law firms.

We provide a 3rd party logistics (3PL) service which meets the needs of customers even in the most time-critical of supply chains such as medical equipment, by integrating our warehousing, computer based inventory control and our own transport and distribution capability.

Sept 2019: FORS Accreditations successfully renewed R&P are delighted to announce that this year we have successfully achieved renewal of all three of FORS accreditations, Bronze, Silver and Gold. FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators and its purpose is to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK by razing the level of quality within fleet operators. These accreditations are not merely for display, but to prove to customers, the general public, and deliverer locations, that R&P is committed to providing a service that is quality driven. Our Bronze Silver and Gold level achievement, proves our credentials as a high performing operator who adheres to high quality standards and underlines our commitment to improving the transport industry.

Sept 2018: FORS Gold Accreditation We are delighted to announce that we have again retained our Silver Level accreditation and also achieved Gold accreditation which is the highest level of accreditation with Transport for London's Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). This scheme is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators and its purpose is to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK by raising the level of quality within fleet operators. The foundation for Silver and Gold accreditation is the Bronze level. R&P Distribution successfully proved to external assessors that it has a well run and effective management structure behind its operation and is being run safely, efficiently and in an environmentally sound manner. Silver accreditation has been achieved again this year by providing evidence of the robust driver training schemes in place and that our vehicles meet the FORS Silver level of safety equipment which include reversing cameras, side step sensors and blind spot minimisation equipment. Gold accreditation has been achieved by providing evidence of our high level of driver and staff training, our dedication to managing on site risk, and providing evidence of moving towards obtaining the safest and most economical transport options. This underlines our commitment to improving the transport industry, in order to promote a high professional standard.

September 2017: New Iveco Vans September has been a very busy month. To keep our fleet in good shape, we have replaced two of our specialist 3.5T vans with 2 new Iveco vans with tail lifts and sleeper bunks.
September 2017: 18T C/S Scania We have also taken delivery of a 5th 18T C/S Scania, fully kitted out to FORS Silver standard from new. Talk with our Traffic Office to find out how we can help you.
June 2017: New 18T Box truck We have now taken delivery of a new 18T Scania Box Truck with tail lift and a new 44t tractor unit.
June 2017: FORS Bronze We are pleased to announce that we have successfully achieved the renewal of our FORS bronze certificate, that is required to maintain our Silver accreditation. Bronze accreditation confirms that we employ good practices including, maintaining comprehensive management procedures and policies, demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety and improving operating practices.
October 2016: FORS Silver We are pleased to announce that we have retained our Silver accreditation, showing our commitment to quality practices throughout our fleet.
September 2016: Scania with a PM63 Crane The most recent vehicle to be added to the fleet extends our capability to provide customers with the ability to move goods into position on site. The crane has a lifting capability of 10,000kg . With a full reach of 15 m and a bed length of up to 9.75 m. Talk to our Operations staff about how we could help you.
Summer 2016: Crossrail During this past year, we have achieved compliance allowing us to deliver to Sites in London under Crossrail (CLOCS) standards.
October 2015: Transport for London's Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Another success, in June 2015 we again qualified for our Bronze accreditation, and then in October we followed this by retaining our Silver Accreditation. The purpose of this scheme is to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK by raising the level of quality of fleet operators. Access to some delivery sites within the London area is now prohibited unless accreditation has been obtained.
