Position: 7.5 - 18 Tonne Drivers

R&P Distribution are a busy transport and logistics Company, with FORS Gold accreditation.

Due to our continued growth we require 7.5t & 18t drivers to join our team.

As a driver you will provide a safe, reliable and effective delivery and collection services on behalf of our varied customers in a courteous and professional manner. Able to communicate clearly any issues experienced and clearly understand all instructions issued to you.

You will be expected to keep a complete record of your work using an in-house application as well as job specific delivery and collection documentation. You will be expected to be safe and responsible whilst ensuring that you always adhere to the traffic laws and Highway Code.

You are the face of the company at all times whilst driving and delivering/ collecting , representing the professional and business values of the company to customers, members of the public and other people you meet in the course of your work.

You will be responsible for carrying out daily, pre and post duty vehicle checks ensuring that any defects are conveyed in writing/via the App to the Traffic office.

The successful candidate will have proof of right to work in the UK, the appropriate Driving Licence for the post, Drivers Qualification Card (CPC), Digital Tachograph card and a full understanding of Tachograph regulations, previous verifiable professional driving experience, including strapping and loading.

Other desirable qualifications would include, ADR and use of Lorry loader

Job type: Full time (50+ hours, some nights out, some early starts)

Salary £20241.00 - £24476.40p.a
